Summer is winding down and out! so will be trying to get back to the house with the dogs and the llamas are looking after themselves for the fall! The llama trips to Washington was fun and heading in a new direction was a treat, usually heading south through the thrilling midwest!
Here is our Brix with all the bones he’s stolen from the labradoodles, well he is the GSD!

My favorite Jay Leno episodes are his “Jay walking” where he walks around asking people questions about rather ordinary subjects and it always just amazes me that so few people, even teachers, are informed about subjects we all, even here in Canada, know about. One night he had a photo of Barak Obama and some one said it was Will Smith! This week he asked questions about July 4the and Independence day. A college professor knew so little that she wouldn’t say the name of her college on TV. Today I was hauling llamas to Picture Butte, and on CBC radio it reported how few people knew the basics of Canadian history and how few could sing the national anthem! I taught grade 5 social studies and believe me I tried my best to get everyone to learn the provinces and the states. How important is it to know this? Does it affect our day to day life functioning? Is this more important info than if Costco is open that day?

Hi, here is my first go at blogging! My niece, Amber, check out her famous blog, has been telling me to blog for a year and I am finally at it! with a lot of professional aid from Peter, my “assistant”!
Come back often for the updates at Wilde Country Rancho. I chose Kittn’Cadoodle for my name is we have 10 great cats here, 2 adorable labradoodles, one faithful German Shepherd Dog and about 100 llamas, it’s the full kit and caboodle! thus the name.
I will be posting the articles I write for the Lama Link magazine as well as photos of trips and llama events that I attend. There will always be a plethora of eclectic information and hopefully fun.
I am off to Nebraska for a week to a llama sale but will be at this when I return.
Chat soon,
Sue
